Photography development

How I incorporated photography in my prints -

- I took photographs or random object that I thought fit in well to my abstract theme.

- Used vibrant object to go with my vibrant colour theme.

- Used a Lightbox to take photographs of my object to get a better quality image for my mural wallpaper. As working on large scale you need to have high pixels and a good quality image. The Lightbox also helped as I didn't have access to a professional camera and had to use my iPhone camera. In my next project I want to use a photography camera that I will be able to rent out at uni and push my photography to look more impressive.

- I then edited all my photograph in photoshop and played around by adding colours and then changed the brightness, contrast and levels. This helped my photographs to stand out even more.

- Once my photos have been edited I then used the Laso tool to select around the image and duplicated the section of what I wanted from the image. I then chose a background colour onto a large scale canvas size and used a very high resolution, then pasted the selection of the image onto my background.

- For my repeat patterns I did the same process with a 53x53 canvas size and duplicated multiple image selections to create my repeat pattern.
