Research

Throughout my research I have looked at many museums and gift shops around Manchester to gather inspiration. My initial idea was going to be inspired by the photography based room in the Manchester art Gallery, I loved the look and feel of this room and thought it would be interesting and something different to explore with within print.

When attending my Tutorials with Lydia she mentioned to me an artist called Marko Zines that may work well with my thoughts and ideas. He is an artist that uses photography but overlays it with bright bold blocks of coloured prints, all different shapes and sizes.

Although I loved the idea and though of mixing both photography and print together I found it a bit of a struggle to work with so I decided to change my idea in the end.
