REPEAT PATTERN MAKING PHOTOSHOP

I created these repeat pattern by using my own colour pallet and motifs. I made these in a Tuesday photoshop session with sally following her instructions and writing a brief step by step which is also helpful for future use.

Standard unit 64cm squared -furnishing 

unit 34cm squared - fashion 

produce a4 pieces showing larger designs 

a3 print to show how design repeats 

32x32 unit 

edit - preferences 

gridline every 5;33

subdivisions 1

show grid 

define pattern 

paint bucket tool 

change foreground to pattern 

select pattern and fill page 

lasso shape 

edit 

define brush present 

duplicate layer 

move tool ctrl T 

click triangle on top row and make sure number is 0 

move document to 32cm 32 in first box 

positive value moves to the right negative value moves to the right
